Bear Bruun

Associate

Born and raised in D.C., Bear is able to leverage his familiarity with the unique local environment and his experience in litigation to his work with clients in the context of divorce and separation. Legal processes often seem imposing and intimidating—Bear uses empathy and compassion in guiding clients through these processes to pursue their goals.

Before coming to Delaney Stafford, Bear worked with clients at a respected local law firm in the areas of family, employment, probate, and real estate law. Bear skillfully litigated on behalf of his clients and assisted with successful appeals in both D.C. and Maryland. He carries that boldness and compassion with him with in his current practice and always ensures that his clients are truly heard.

Bear attended the George Washington University Law School, where he graduated with honors and served as a member of the Mock Trial Board and Alternate Dispute Resolution Board. Bear has worked in both the D.C. government and the federal government and, most recently, Bear served as a law clerk to the Senior Judges at D.C. Superior Court, where he worked under the Court’s most experienced members of the bench. Bear brings with him a host of knowledge and passion for the area and can be frequently found biking through Rock Creek Park.
