Meredith Walsh is a thoughtful and pragmatic estate planner focused on helping individuals and families craft estate plans to reflect their values. Meredith is particularly well-versed in the intersection of estate planning and family law, having negotiated and drafted pre-nuptial and post-nuptial agreements and counseled clients on the characteristics of trust property and inherited property in divorce.
Prior to joining Delaney Stafford, Meredith practiced law at a Washington, D.C.-based AmLaw 50 firm for six years, advising business owners, heirs, and successful professionals on all aspects of estate planning, estate administration and trust administration. Meredith helps clients consider and balance the financial, tax and emotional components that motivate a thoughtful and comprehensive estate plan. Meredith also has the depth of experience required to tailor estate planning solutions to fit the needs of all family structures, having advised individuals on a range of issues, including how to implement an estate plan that honors property settlement agreements, provides equitably for minor and adult children and meets the needs of surviving loved ones.
Meredith's goal is for each client to feel empowered and confident in his or her planning.
